北京時間5月24日，據Hoopshype記者Michael Scotto報道，老鷹計劃簽回CJ-麥科勒姆。
麥科勒姆為老鷹出場了41場常規賽，其中25場首發。隨后出戰了老鷹全部6場首輪季后賽。
即使麥科勒姆回歸，老鷹仍可在2026年NBA選秀中增加后衛深度。由于去年與鵜鶘的選秀日交易，老鷹在本次選秀中擁有第8順位簽。
