7月1日，外交部發言人郭嘉昆主持例行記者會。有記者就近期有日本人因違反中國法律被中方主管部門依法拘留相關事件提問。
郭嘉昆表示，中方主管部門依法查處違法犯罪案件。日方應該教育提醒在華日本公民和企業遵守中國的法律法規。
