日本防衛省今天（5月29日）宣布，將向北約設在德國、負責為烏克蘭軍隊提供訓練和裝備支援的司令部派遣4名日本自衛隊成員，并從下個月起負責計劃制定與協調等工作。日本防衛大臣小泉進次郎在內閣會議后的記者會上稱，“通過派遣自衛官，日本將學習俄烏戰場上出現的新型作戰方式等經驗教訓，助力強化日本防衛體制。”
