提到「黃牛」的英文，是不是很多人脫口而出 yellow bull？其實應該是 scalper。這個詞我們之前在精讀中講過兩次咯。作動詞時，scalp 可表示「倒賣」，tout 也有這個意思。所以倒賣門票就是 scalp/tout tickets，China Daily 在報道時有用到動詞用法。而「黃牛，票販子」便是 scalper 或 tout。
