本周我們學習和面試相關的詞匯

1. résumé /?rezju?me?/

n. 簡歷；履歷

e.g. I updated my résumé before applying for the job.

e.g. You should tailor your résumé to the specific job you’re applying for.

補充：tailor …to … 根據…定制

類似表達：CV [Curriculum Vitae（拉丁語）]

e.g. A well-prepared CV can help you stand out from other applicants.

e.g. I received an interview invitation after submitting my CV.

2. work placement

學校安排的實踐工作;實踐學習

e.g. As part of my university course, I did a work placement at a marketing company.

e.g. During university, I completed a work placement in a local company, which gave me practical experience.

區分：internship多指公司提供的實習崗位

e.g. An internship is a great way to gain hands-on experience in a particular field.

補充：hands-on experience 獲得實踐經驗

3. trial /'tra??l/

n. (人員的)試用，試用期

搭配：on trial 處于試用階段

trial period 試用期

e.g. New employees usually have a three-month trial period.

e.g. The 26-year-old fullback has been on trial at the club for ten days.

區分：probation

通常比trial period更長，而且往往是員工已正式入職后的考察期

e.g. New staff are on probation for six months.

e.g. If you pass your probation, you will get a permanent contract.

補充：permanent adj. 員工長期的

4. shortlist /'??:tlist/

n. 入圍名單；候選名單

搭配： on a/the shortlist for 在…的候選名單上

e.g. Out of 200 applicants, only 10 made the shortlist.

e.g. She is on the shortlist for the Nobel Prize.

v. 把…列入入圍名單;把…列入候選名單;提名

搭配：be shortlisted for

e.g. She was shortlisted for the position of marketing manager.

e.g. Only five candidates were shortlisted for the final interview.

補充：candidate n. 候選人;求職者
