5月18日，中國駐菲律賓使館派員赴菲國調(diào)局看守所對69名中國工人進行領(lǐng)事探視，敦促菲方盡快依法公正妥善處理有關(guān)案件，切實保障中國公民安全和合法權(quán)益。
據(jù)使館介紹，上述中國公民近日在菲軍警對棉蘭老地區(qū)東米薩米斯省一家鋼鐵廠的突擊行動中被查扣。
