薩爾瓦多是巴西東北部巴伊亞州的首府。作為巴西的第一個(gè)首都，薩爾瓦多在1549年至1763年間見證了歐洲文化、非洲文化和美洲文化在這里的融合。薩爾瓦多歷史中心區(qū)域于1985年被聯(lián)合國教科文組織列入世界遺產(chǎn)名錄。
