深秋，楓葉紅了。不是一棵兩棵，而是半座山都紅了——紅得熱烈，紅得放肆，紅得像著了火。遠遠望去，那半座山真的像在燃燒，橘紅色的火焰從山腳燒到山腰，從山腰燒到山頂，燒得漫天都是紅的。山間有一條石板路，是用青石板鋪的，一級一級通向山里。路面上落滿了楓葉，厚厚的，紅紅的，踩上去軟綿綿的。那些楓葉不像葉子，更像一朵朵安靜的火焰——它們不跳動了，不燃燒了，只是靜靜地躺在石板上，等著人來踩，等著風來吹。陽光透過稀疏的樹枝落下來，照在這些安靜的火焰上，把它們照得透亮，紅得能滴下血來。走在石板路上，腳下沙沙作響，那聲音像是火焰在低聲說著什么。半座山在燃燒，這條路在燃燒，連走在路上的人，也覺得自己快要被這安靜的紅色點燃了。
