American musician Oliver Tree has died in a helicopter crash in Brazil at the age of 32, according to reports.

Two helicopters collided over Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning and crashed in the city's western zone, killing all six people onboard, including Tree, several Brazilian media outlets reported.

Rio de Janeiro's military fire department said one of the helicopters crashed on a car dealership, where several electric vehicles were parked, igniting a fire that was extinguished.

據當地消防部門消息，遇難者中5人來自同一架直升機，另一人為另一架直升機的飛行員。目前，事故路段已被封閉以便開展救援。事故原因尚在調查中。

Officials said an investigation was under way to determine the cause of the collision.

據悉，遇難者包括美國知名歌手奧利弗·特里（Oliver Tree）、阿根廷網紅博主加斯帕爾·普里姆、盧卡斯·維尼亞萊、盧卡斯·布里托·查韋斯，以及兩名飛行員亞歷山大·蘇扎和查爾斯·馬西利亞克。

Tree, 32, who was in Brazil on a world tour, was aboard one of the helicopters that crashed, leaving all occupants dead, a police source told AFP.

The passengers alongside the singer included a Brazilian music producer, Argentine video director and Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, known online as Gaspi.

據悉，事故發生時，奧利弗·特里正處在一場世界巡演途中。據報道，他剛于6月6日在圣保羅完成一場名為“世界首場世界巡演”的南美收官場，原定7月1日轉赴里斯本，繼續歐洲段巡演。

值得注意的是，奧利弗·特里原預定今年10月開啟中國巡演。據巡演公開排期，他原定今年10月在成都（14日）、重慶（16日）、廣州（17日）、深圳（18日）、武漢（21日）、上海（23日）、杭州（24日）、北京（25日）8座城市演出。
