盡管筆試第一，虐貓考生被南大、蘭大相繼拒絕。他參加的考試是研究生考試，我找了幾份外刊，其中提到了多個「考研」相關表達，咱們一網打盡。
1?? 「考研」相關表達
1）deny sb admission
四級 + 考研詞匯
admission 除了表示「承認」外，還常用來表示「準許加入」組織、學校等。所以「拒錄」可用 deny sb admission 來表達。
2）turn down sb
除了「調低音量」，它還表示 「拒絕」某人或建議、要求等。比如，turn down your invitation「拒絕邀請」。所以「拒錄某人」還能用 turn down sb。或者，你還可用 reject, turn away 等。請看《經濟學人》例句。

這些公司之所以上市是因為創始人需要套現，或者（如最近扎堆的科技公司）公開市場上提供的價碼實在太好，無法拒絕。
3）the preliminary test
四級 + 考研詞匯
我們之前學過 preliminary「預備性的；初步的」。那論文的「初稿」你是不是會說啦？ a preliminary draft。「初試」是筆試，所以英文可寫成 the preliminary written test，或者干脆去掉 written，寫成 the preliminary examination。
4）re-examination
「復試」是第二場考試，所以常用 re-examination 來表達。
2?? down the line
意思是「在線以下」？反常之處必有妖。這其實是一個固定短語，表示「以后，將來」。我們可用它替換 later, in the future。是不是看著眼生呢？但四六級出過好幾次，閱讀有，聽力也有；專四也考過一次。來看2021 年 6 月的四級閱讀。句子補在評論區哦。
