01John Locke介紹

約翰洛克寫作競賽（John Locke Essay Competition）從極富趣味性和挑戰力的寫作題目出發，旨在培養參賽者的議論文寫作能力，考察參賽者對于不同學科領域獨立深刻的見解、廣博的認知、清晰的說理能力、批判性地分析思維能力和說服力。鼓勵年輕人培養將好學生變成偉大作家的特質：獨立思考、知識深度、推理清晰、批判性分析和說服力。征文比賽邀請學生探索學校課程范圍之外的各種具有挑戰性和有趣的問題。

參加John Locke寫作競賽可以積累知識，提高論證技巧。評委們將從每個學科中選出一篇“最佳論文”。此前參賽者被牛津、劍橋、普林斯頓、哈佛、耶魯、斯坦福、芝加哥、加州伯克利等名校錄取。

• John Locke論文競賽的獎項由以牛津大學為主的學者團體評定。
• 比賽受到英美各大優質院校的認可，可以說該競賽是近幾年文、社科類含金量最高的競賽之一，每年的參與學生都被普林斯頓，哈佛，耶魯等各大名校錄取。

06John Locke獎項設置

John Locke最佳論文的候選人將獲得John Locke Institute Junior Fellowship，附帶10,000美元的獎學金，用于參加學院一個或多個暑期學校或gap year課程。每個學科類別的獲獎者將獲得價值2000美元的獎學金，可用于支付John Locke的課程費用，論文將在學院網站上發布。

每篇文章應解決所選主題中的一個問題，可提交多篇論文。

不得超過2000 字（不包括圖表、數據表、腳注、參考書目或作者聲明）

?評判標準

論文將根據知識水平和對相關材料的理解、證據的有效使用、論證的質量、結構、寫作風格和說服力來評判。建議考生盡可能準確直接地回答問題。抵制各種形式的抄襲作弊行為。

?費用

提交論文不收取任何費用，但逾期報名需要提交25.00 GBP（延期7天）或75.00 GBP（延期21天），必須在逾期后24小時內支付。
