7月1日，有網友發帖稱，北京觀復博物館收藏的一尊佛像與此前海南海口五公祠被盜的一尊宋代佛像高度相似。消息發布后，引發網友熱議。

A bronze Buddhist statue displayed at Guanfu Museum in Beijing has drawn public attention after online users suggested it closely resembles a nationally registered cultural relic stolen from the Temple of the Five Lords in South China's Hainan province more than two decades ago.

網傳被盜文物信息

7月2日晚，觀復博物館就此事通報稱，2005年，觀復博物館廈門館開館之際，該館在廈門市合法古玩市場征集文物展品，購得一件古代銅羅漢像，隨后在北京的觀復博物館展出二十年之久。期間沒有接到過任何來自官方或私人關于這件展品的信息。

In a statement released on Thursday, Guanfu Museum said it purchased the bronze statue from a legally operated antiques market in Xiamen, Fujian province, in 2005 and has displayed it in Beijing for nearly 20 years, adding that it had never before received any inquiries or claims regarding the artifact.

7月1日下午，該館查看網絡信息時獲悉：鑄銅普庵祖師坐像于2000年在海口五公祠失竊，系國家重要文物，與該館這尊羅漢造像近似。觀復博物館看到信息后極為重視，第一時間核查并向上級主管部門（國家文物局、北京市文物局）如實上報，申請由上級主管部門主持勘驗鑒定，依規厘清事實，指導后續工作。

觀復博物館表示，該館始終堅定履行文物保護的社會責任，此事將服從主管部門的鑒定結果和工作指導，嚴格依照法律法規全力配合，切實維護文物保護法規與社會公共利益。

After learning of the online reports, the museum said it immediately reported the matter to the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, requesting an official examination to determine the facts. It said it would fully cooperate with the authorities and abide by the outcome of the investigation.

海口五公祠管理處工作人員7月2日晚回應記者稱，目前該管理處已關注到網傳的被盜佛像的新信息，并已向相關部門做了匯報。

A staff member at the Temple of the Five Lords said the temple has taken note of the newly surfaced information and has reported it to the relevant authorities.

據中國被盜（丟失）文物信息發布平臺信息顯示，網友提到的海口五公祠被盜佛像鑄造于宋末元初，高1.3米，重約100公斤，于2000年4月30日被盜，立案單位為海口市公安局刑事偵查支隊。中國被盜（丟失）文物信息發布平臺發布的被盜佛像照片，與觀復博物館展出的佛像在諸多細節上存在共同點。

According to an official database of stolen and missing cultural relics, the missing bronze statue, dating back to the late Song Dynasty (960-1279) or early Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), was stolen on April 30, 2000.

7月2日傍晚，記者致電立案單位，工作人員稱，已收到反映情況，目前正在調查中，還未有調查結果。

公開資料顯示，觀復博物館是新中國成立以來第一家私立博物館，由著名文物收藏家馬未都于1996年創建，1997年1月18日在北京正式開館并對公眾開放。觀復博物館（北京館）設有陶瓷館、家具館、工藝館、門窗館和臨展館等。
