2022年4月16日，德州人民公園牡丹園開園，免費對外開放。牡丹園位于山東省德州市德城區德州市人民公園的東南側，占地36畝，在原德州動物園搬遷舊址上改造提升，土培九大色系牡丹，輔植青松翠柏，配以芍藥海棠，打造以牡丹觀賞為特色的主題游覽園景。
