秋意漸濃時，收到一封遠方來信。牛皮紙信封，墨跡已有些暈開，郵戳模糊難辨，不知輾轉了多少路程。拆開看，竟是二十年前的故人筆跡。

“見信如晤。昨夜夢回母校，梧桐葉落滿徑，你我還穿著藍白校服，抱著書本從圖書館匆匆跑過......”

信末沒有署名，只畫了一枚四葉草——當年我們常在校園草叢中尋找的幸運符號。

放下信紙，推窗望去。院中老梧桐果然已染秋色，金黃的葉片在風中打著旋兒，一如那年分別時的景象。

那年秋天，我們并肩走在落葉鋪就的長廊上，約定十年后再聚。少年人總以為時光漫漫，來日方長。誰知一朝分別，竟是山川異域，歲月倥傯。

后來聽說他去了北國，我則南下來到這座濱海小城。起初還有書信往來，漸漸就在各自的生活里沉浮，聯系稀了，終至杳無音訊。
