美國華人執業醫師協會（SCAPE）2024年會暨十周年慶典在北加州硅谷圓滿落幕。本次會議高朋滿座，盛況空前，吸引了近600位參與者，其中包括約350名來自全美各地的終身會員醫生。來自加拿大、澳大利亞和英國的嘉賓們、會員家庭成員、支持者和贊助商也歡聚一堂，共襄盛典。

7月13日早晨，陽光明媚，會議在美麗的斯坦福大學校園拉開帷幕。現任會長程麗蓉醫生和創會會長錢湘醫生致開幕詞，熱烈歡迎參會者。三位來自不同領域的風云人物進行了主題演講，分享了他們的深刻的見解和展望。Zoom視頻通信公司的創始人兼首席執行官袁征分享了他的創業經驗并談到了年輕一代的自我發展。1997年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主Myron S. Scholes博士做了題為“不確定性對創造力和學習的影響”的講座。美國國家科學院院士、美國藝術與科學院院士，著名物理學家沈志勛博士的演講題目為 “魔石的到來”。下午的繼續醫學教育（CME）講座內容豐富且有趣，之后的藝術演出更是高潮迭起，精彩紛呈。

7月14日，在醫學論壇上，各位講者分享了癌癥治療、心臟疾病、神經疾病、疼痛及慢性病管理等方面的最新進展。下一代的活動同樣豐富多彩，包括參觀斯坦福校園以及多個關于職業選擇、領導力和金融啟蒙的講座和討論。

在十年慶典晚宴上，一段回顧SCAPE十年歷程的影片令人心潮澎湃，感慨萬千。五任會長回顧了協會一路走來的風風雨雨，并展望了更加美好的未來。新朋舊友共聚一堂，舉杯言歡，場面熱鬧而溫馨。

美好的時光總是飛逝，相聚總是短暫。相信在大家的共同努力下，SCAPE會更加蓬勃發展，明天會更好。期待大家攜手同行，共筑未來，期待明年在奧蘭多相聚。

作品簡介：

本書是一部紀實性文集，共收錄了39篇美國華人醫生寫的關于美國新冠疫情和抗疫情況的文章。這些文章生動而詳實地記錄了在美國新冠大流行期間，華人醫生們奮戰在臨床抗疫第一線和參與社區防疫等的親身經歷及事跡，也反映了他們當時的真實生活狀況和內心感受，并反思和總結了美國抗疫的經驗教訓。書中的內容也是華人醫生們在美國長期工作生活的縮影。

Introduction:

This book is a documentary collection of 39 articles written by Chinese-American doctors in the United States about the COVID-19 pandemic and their efforts to fight it. These articles vividly and comprehensively record the firsthand experiences and deeds of Chinese-American doctors on the front lines of clinical care and community prevention during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. They also reflect on their real-life situations and inner feelings at that time, as well as reflect on and summarize the lessons learned from the American pandemic response. The book's content is also a microcosm of Chinese-American doctors' long-term work and life in the United States.
