當地時間5月30日，環球音樂集團（Universal Music Group）已拒絕了比爾·阿克曼旗下投資公司提出的收購要約。
環球音樂表示，潘興廣場（Pershing Square）提出的643億美元收購要約“不符合公司、股東、藝人、粉絲及其他利益相關方的最佳利益”。其稱，該要約“從根本上和實質上低估”了公司的價值。
