據(jù)巴西媒體《環(huán)球體育》消息，世界杯1/16決賽前，濟(jì)科談到了日本和巴西。
濟(jì)科回憶起執(zhí)教日本隊(duì)時(shí)的經(jīng)歷時(shí)表示：“還有什么比作為日本隊(duì)主教練去對陣巴西更難的事嗎？我經(jīng)歷過兩次。”隨后他又說：“如果巴西贏了，那太好了。因?yàn)槲沂前臀魅恕！?/p>
不過濟(jì)科也補(bǔ)充道：“即使巴西輸球，我也不會悲傷。日本足球界也流著一點(diǎn)我的血。”
