德園包子是湖南長沙地區(qū)的傳統(tǒng)小吃之一。選料精細，糖餡香甜爽口，肉餡則選用豬前夾縫肉或好瘦肉，拌以香菇、筍干、蔥姜、凍油等調(diào)料，油而不膩。德園的掌案師傅歷來都是技術(shù)高超的老師傅，老面發(fā)酵，絕不添加使用泡打粉，所制包點皮薄餡大、面香濃郁、顏色白凈、質(zhì)地松軟、面呈海綿狀富有回彈性，口感特有嚼勁。德園以外形4個小孔的四眼大包為代表獨具特色，德園包點中的銀絲卷亦是湘點中的代表之作。
